Yes, I'm procrastinating. I'm not sure why, but I'm not wild about exploring virtual worlds. Finding all these new and interesting OTHER diversions on the internet has been fun, though.
And actually it's all the librarians fault. I wouldn't be on Facebook and getting blogs via Google Reader if it weren't for 23 Things. So there.
This new toy is courtesy of one of the participants over at Urban Sketchers. He draws urban Seattle for the Seattle Times and has a blog there as well. He drew a skyscraper and then pointed us all over to Skyscraperpage.com. You can plug in a city name and then find out all kinds of cool things about their skyscrapers. They also have a diagram by height of the city's buildings. Here's Houston.

bet math teachers could find some uses for this!
and yes it is fun to procrastinate for a bit, but I'm giving you a friendly nudge into the virtual world...
YES, it seems weird, and yes it is different, and Yes there a bit of a learning curve (I still don't know how to sit down)...but I'm betting you will enjoy the adventure! Not saying you are going to "move" there, but you have enjoyed experimenting with everything else, I think your natural curiosity will allow you to enjoy the virtual world too!
Can't wait to read your take on it!
